God wants you happy and blessed. In the book of Jeremiah, God expressed His mind by saying, “the thoughts I have towards you are thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11). God can not violate His word neither can He contradict Himself. He is really interested in making you happy and blessed. The hope and future He has designed for you are beautiful. God is not trying to design your future, He has already designed it and made it available in the heavenly places.

However, receiving all that God has in store for you is in your hands, not God’s. The enemy will try to manipulate God’s agenda for your life, for he comes to steal, kill, and destroy.

The devil is the god of this world, meaning, he is in charge of systems. That’s why nations of the world experience different forms of disaster. Pandemic, recession, war, famine, corruption are the things that operate in this earthly system and as ambassadors of God’s Kingdom, we must stand our ground to enforce God’s Kingdom agenda in our lives and on the earth. The Lord’s prayer states, “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10) and one of the wills of God is “THANKSGIVING” which literally means staying positive, being grateful at all times and in all things. “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”. (1Thessalonian 5:18).

The Word of God is the cure and defense against all negativity this earthly system brings. In this devotional, we have given a step by step scriptural guide on how to stay positive against all odds.
